      Twice judged outstanding by Ofsted, with teaching described as 'stunning', Wren Academy has developed a national reputation for innovative and inspiring classroom practice. Much of this practice has been built upon our development of the Building Learning Power (BLP) approach. We share our BLP ideas with teaching colleagues at our regular Showcase Days.
    • Wren Houses
      At Wren Academy we operate a House system. This means that every student in Years 7-10 is allocated a House to which they belong for the duration of their time in the lower school. We thought very carefully about what to names our houses after, way back in 2008, and settled on some Christopher Wren designed churches from around the city of London.Read More

      School Direct is a programme which establishes schools at the centre of Initial Teacher Training (ITT). Under the scheme, schools can recruit and train their own teachers to achieve Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher (QT) status.Read More
