Success in the Art and Design Department

We are delighted to announce that one of our Sixth Form Art students, Emma C-E, has been selected in The Arts Society and RBA Star Students Competition.

Emma's work was initially selected by The Arts Society at our annual Summer Exhibition, because it was of a very high standard and the community had the difficult task of selecting just 20 works from so many wonderful works of Art. Emma’s Artwork went on to be selected by the Education Committee at The Royal Society of British Artists, where it will be exhibited at the Mall Galleries in Central London in March.

This is an experience which has helped many students gain confidence and valuable career insight, as they will have an opportunity to sell their artwork, which will also feature in the exhibition catalogue.
