Lateral Flow Testing

Our student services colleagues and volunteers have made an extraordinary effort to turn our sports hall into a testing centre. It is nothing short of a miracle to have achieved so much in so little time. We have offered tests to every member of staff and many have now had their first test. Key worker and vulnerable students attending each day have also had their first of two tests. This initial testing will be completed by Monday and we will then be able to offer weekly testing to all members of the community on site. We are confident that we will be able to scale-up this provision as more students return to school. The testing centre increases our ability to mitigate risk, being able to quickly identify asymptomatic students and staff and isolate at the earliest opportunity.
