Our congratulations go to Fencing champion Yasmin who, along with her team mates, won Gold for the second year running in Women’s Foil at the UK School Games held in Manchester last month.

Yasmin, one of our Year 11 students, is currently ranked number 6 in Europe and No. 3 in Great Britain in the under 20s.

Fencing is often considered a "physical chess" with mental skills being as crucial as physical ones, with concentration and quick thinking especially important. Yasmin clearly demonstrates both these skills amply and we wish her every success going forward this season.
