A Level Results 2022 Posted: 24/08/22

Wren Academy Finchley students have achieved some fantastic A Level results this year.

Wren Academy Finchley students have achieved some fantastic A Level results this year.  We are delighted that there has been a significant increase in the proportion of A*/A grades (40%) compared with 25% in 2019 - the last year where ‘traditional’ public examinations took place.  Nationally, the proportion of A*/A is 36%.  The proportion of A*-B grades at Wren has risen from 58% in 2019 to 69%.

Six students achieved A*s in all their subjects:

  • Alex: 5 A*s (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Psychology and EPQ).
  • Arun 4 A*s (Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths and Physics).
  • Alana 3 A*s (Art and Design, English Literature, History)
  • James 3 A*s  (Economics, Maths, Politics)
  • Jude 3 A*s (Art and Design, Drama, English Language)
  • Tomisin 3 A*s (Biology, Chemistry, Maths).

In all, 35 students achieved three or more A* or A grades representing a broad range of disciplines and indicative of the strength in depth of the teaching specialists at the Academy.

In terms of destinations, we are delighted that four students have been accepted for Oxford or Cambridge.
