Wren's Got Talent was Bow's house charity event to raise money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. On Friday 6 May the hall was buzzing with excited students from Years 7-13 who whooped and cheered enthusiastically on cue. There were a total of 13 finalists who showcased a range of talents from spoken word to contemporary dance. The audience were truly entertained by the 'experienced and knowledgeable' judges Mr Smith, Ms Rees, Mr Barton and Ms Gordon-Smith. Selected by the students themselves, the judges created a kind and friendly environment and eased and inspired the finalists with their humour and encouragement.

The Year 12 committee organised the event with professionalism and efficiency, so much so that there have been numerous requests to ensure that it becomes an annual event on the Wren Academy calendar. Wren's Got Talent 2016 was a huge success and our friends at Noah's Ark are incredibly grateful for the money which we raised – a whopping £320. It was an extremely fun and enjoyable event that had the whole crowd clapping in time with the music - truly an evening not to have been missed!
