  • The benefits of a Wren Academy led free school

    Last autumn, Wren submitted an application to the Department for Education to open a new secondary school in west Enfield. We were very pleased to learn last week that our application has been successful and we will now be moving forward with plans to open the new school in September 2018.

    I read an article in 'The New Statesman' over the recent holiday which could be seen as either exciting or frightening, depending on your point of view.  By the time current Wren students are in their middle age, technological implants will control the body so that  lifespans will routinely exceed 100 years and then some.

    Wren Academy is a world class school.  I know this to be true because we have a plaque to prove it. I imagine that few people will be convinced by the justification above but the fact remains that for the past 18 months Wren has possessed the designation ' World Class School'.
