    I read an article in 'The New Statesman' over the recent holiday which could be seen as either exciting or frightening, depending on your point of view.  By the time current Wren students are in their middle age, technological implants will control the body so that  lifespans will routinely exceed 100 years and then some.

    I have had a long standing interest in the relationship between teachers and educational research.  Standards of professional developement for teachers are high in most schools.  Many teachers are doing interesting work on how to improve their own practice and that of colleagues.  Increasingly, this work spans more than one school.
