A range of external speakers have already visited the Wren Academy Sixth Form this January.

Local Conservative MP, Mike Freer, spoke about his background and journey to becoming a Member of Parliament. He fielded questions on many topics including: the UK’s nuclear deterrent, tuition fees, the bedroom tax and Islamic extremism.

A representative of the government’s Step Forward scheme informed students about the opportunities for paid apprenticeships and Year 12 students also heard from materials designer Chris Lefteri, who runs a successful design consultancy, used to lecture at Central St Martins art college and is the author of six books.
