A group of Wren students, parents and staff spent an enjoyable evening at the annual Jack Petchey Awards ceremony on 11 July.  The ceremony took place at the Artsdepot theatre in North Finchley and was attended by other award winners from Barnet schools and youth organisations.

A Jack Petchey Award is presented each month to a student who has provided inspiration to the school community or whose contribution to school life has improved the experiences of students and staff. Award winners are nominated by the Academy community. Each month's Jack Petchey Award is accompanied by a cash prize which the winning student must spend on resources for the school.

This year's Wren winners were Luke, Rachel, Corey, Cereza, Sam and Louella. The Mayor of Barnet, Cllr David Longstaff presented the Awards. We are exceptionally proud of all of the Wren award winners who provided an outstanding example for all of us over the course of the year.
