Supporting university applications
All students receive support with their university applications from our experienced team. This support includes helping students to decide upon the courses and universities best suited to them, help with personal statements and then preparing for any interviews and entrance tests which universities may hold.
At Wren we also offer a range of additional support for those students with the ambition to study at the most prestigious universities or who wish to take some of the most competitive degree courses.
We work with a specialist in preparing students for Oxbridge applications who has an outstanding track record in helping young people gain place at Oxford and Cambridge universities. Wren also has access to experts in preparing students for applications to American universities.
Guidance is also provided for students wishing to study Law or Medicine through a range of speakers with wide experience in these professions. Our university preparation programme also includes coverage of other professions such as Journalism and Banking.
What is UCAS?
In Year 13 students will be deciding the route they want to take once they have completed their A Levels. For many of our students that route is university. This means they have to complete a UCAS application. UCAS is the University and College Admissions Service. Although this can feel like a stressful time for both students and their families, there is a lot of help and support provided both by the Academy and UCAS itself.
